Wisematic SOLU™ RF-series provieds a flexible cobot based solution for the automation of low volume smart device batches in refurbishment operations. Customizable inbound buffer provides autonomy and flexibility to daily operations. Automatic labeling module available for device identification and tracking. Outbound flow in batch boxes enables creation of flexible downstream process.
Several tester, peripheral and system lay-out configurations are possible. Solution is scalable to medium volumes with additional Wisematic SOLU™ RF-series modules.
Medium volumes
Wisematic SOLU™ RF-series modules cater for flexible automation of medium processing volumes in refurbishment operations. Open and customizable inbound buffer enables autonomy and flexibility for the first phase of the infeed process. Cobot based tending allows for a flexible set up of testers and diagnostics. After testing automatic labeling unit provides identification and tracking of unique devices for downstream process phases. Outbound conveyor system provides continuous material flow to downstream process phases and diverter module enables two separate downstream flows according to e.g. pre-defined test result parameters. Fully customizable configuration and lay-out according to process needs and available floor plan.

High volumes
Wisematic SOLU™ RF-series includes a complete automatic line solution for processing high device volumes of refurbished smart devices.
Preconditioning cell prepares the devices for further testing by e.g. trusting, charging, data erasure, diagnostics and device management. The cell fully automates the handling and connecting of incoming devices in high volumes. It provides device coupling for cabled e.g. charging and data erasure. Machine vision based identification and adaptive robotic system is capable of handling all common phones sizes and types (iOS and Android).
Wisematic SOLU™ RF-series preconditioning cell features up to 600 unique device slots in single cell (RH or LH) setup and up to 1200 unique device slots in double cell (RH + LH) setup. The system has an average throughput up to 250 units per hour and has separate trusting station modules available for iOS devices. The preconditioning cell includes integrated USB-hubs and 1U server PC racks for a full IT infrastructure per customer preference.
Wisematic SOLU™ RF-series testing cell provides a fully customizable tester configuration and setup according to process and volume needs. Tester environment is served with a high capacity folding industrial robot arm, and is capable of tending a suite of testers for diagnostics, functional testing and grading.
Outbound conveyor system provides continuous material flow to downstream process phases. Right-hand, left-hand and dual lay-out configurations for the preconditioning and testing cells are possible to suit customer volumes and floor plan. Robotic cells have a compact overall footprint due to unique folding robot arm.
